The Killers rung in the holiday season with "Christmas in LA," the ninth and newest addition to their annual collection of Christmas singles. Keeping with tradition, the band released the song and it's music video on World AIDs Day in support of (RED), a charity dedicated to fighting the disease.
"You'll never see us smile or let our hair down as much as when we do the Christmas stuff. It always turns out to be a lot of work but it's really refreshing." frontman Brandon Flowers said about the single to UK's Metro.
According to Flowers, the single tells the story of "a struggling actor in L.A. who misses the traditional Christmas." Backup vocals from Dawes support the track and starring roles from Owen Wilson and Harry Dean Stanton compose the video:
All iTunes proceeds from "Christmas in L.A." will go directly to support the efforts of (RED).
