Mike Rosenberg (a.k.a. Passenger) crafted six years' worth of independent albums before finding massive success with 'Let Her Go.' Just like during the long pause at the end of that song, audiences were left wondering if they would hear from him again. Now they can wonder no more. The singer-songwriter will release a new album, 'Whispers,' on June 10th.
"['Whispers' is] easily the most 'up' album I’ve ever made. It’s quite cinematic. There are lots of big stories and big ideas. There are also some somber moments about loneliness and death but, hey, it wouldn’t be a Passenger album without those. Mostly though, it’s a really positive album.” Rosenberg told Rolling Stone about the 11 track album produced by Chris Vallejo.
Passenger will release 'Whisper's' lead single, 'Scare Away the Dark,' via iTunes on April 1st. Look for him to debut the track this Friday, March 28th on 'The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.'
