After a record setting 87 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, Imagine Dragon's "Radioactive" has dropped off the list.
Lead singer Dan Reynolds described the run as "unbelievable" to Billboard earlier this year when the hit beat out the previous record holder, "I'm Yours," by Jason Mraz. The success of "Radioactive" marks the longest run in the chart's 55-year history.
Reynolds credits the song's endurance to its defiance of genre. "It crept its way into more and more radio formats and kept sneaking up on people," the singer told Billboard.
For the song in which its characters are "waking up," it looks like things have finally started to settle down.
