Minnesota House rejects Sunday liquor sales

Minnesota House lawmakers once again rejected a bill to allow liquor sales on Sunday, with strong bipartisan totals against the measure.

The vote was 106-21 against the amendment, proposed by DFL Rep. Tina Liebling of Rochester. House leaders said the amendment had little chance of advancing, while a similar Senate bill stalled in committee.

Minnesota is one of 12 states that still outlaws liquor sales on Sunday.
