Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane is "recovering nicely" after undergoing surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain.
Bandmate Winston Marshall took to Twitter Wednesday to share the news and thank everyone for all the support they've received over the past few days.
Ted is recovering nicely from surgery. He's a brave little boy. Thanks for all your support. We are very grateful— Winston Marshall (@Win_Marshall) June 12, 2013
The British folk rockers were forced to cancel three shows this week due to Dwane's surgery, but they're expected to be back in business this weekend. The band is set to headline Saturday's lineup at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, and both the Mumfords and Bonnaroo organizers say the gig is supposed to go on as scheduled.
