Noel Gallagher stands firm on no Oasis reunion

Oasis fans will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the band's debut album Definitely Maybe this coming summer, but Noel Gallagher says he definitely won't be part of any celebratory reunion.

The guitarist tells "Rolling Stone" he'd rather not take the stage with his former bandmates, reiterating that there is no Oasis anymore.  Plus, Gallagher feels the band didn't leave behind any "unfinished business."  He says any new Oasis fans who didn't get to see the band are simply out of luck, pointing out that he never got to the see the Beatles, but that's just how it goes.

Still, Noel says he understands that he'll most likely never stop getting reunion questions.  But he jokes that he's only getting about six a day, so it's more or less "under control."

Oasis split after Noel left the group in 2009.  The rest of the band - including brother Liam Gallagher - went on to form Beady Eye, whose second album BE was just released in the U.S. this week.  Noel, meanwhile, put out his solo debut Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds back in 2011.
